Seasonal Ingredients

Our menus are developed using seasonal produce sourced locally with most of our ingredients coming from the island itself. The Dulse & Brose name represents the locality of the restaurant and its focus on sea and land produce. Dulse is a type of Scottish seaweed and Brose is a Scots word for porridge.

Our Breakfast

Breakfast at Bosville really is the most important meal of the day. We like to treat our guests to a long leisurely three-course breakfast. We offer a fresh buffet, drinks and dishes made to order. See how you feel on the day but, to help you out, we have put together a sample menu.

Sourced Locally

We love to support the local community in everything we do. Being located in such a beautiful and flourishing part of Scotland means we have an abundance of produce available to us.

From locally sourced ingredients to beer brewed in one of the local breweries, we want our guests to discover the rich, fresh, and mouth-watering flavours that Skye has to offer. We work with local suppliers to source as much as we can, including food, drink, materials, fabrics and maintenance work.

Merchant Bar

In our Merchant Bar, you’ll find one of the island’s finest selections of Scottish gins and, of course, single malts. The award-winning Isle of Skye Brewery showcases three of their finest ales on tap alongside the much-raved about – also award winning – Thistly Cross farmhouse Cider.

Dear Friends

We are writing to you to give an update regarding Perle Hotels. In compliance with the government‘s announcement, effective Friday 20th March 2020 we shut down all of our restaurants, bars and cafes.

Effective Monday 23rd March 2020, we closed all of our hotels. Our voicemails and emails will be answered, but bear with us if it takes longer than usual to respond. Our website is working as usual.

The COVID-19 situation is very fluid and we are heeding all advice from the government. In light of this, we cannot determine a date when we will reopen, but we hope it is sooner rather than later. We will put out further information on social media and our website as soon as we are permitted to reopen the hotels.

If you have a booking with us that is affected by the closure, we will be in touch and we can guide you on your options. Don’t worry we have relaxed our terms and conditions to give you more options. If you should have any questions, feel free to mail us, as we are available to help you.

This crisis will pass and we look forward to welcoming you very soon. In the meantime, please practice social distancing, so that we can all get together sooner!

We hope you, your family and friends remain safe and well.

Your Perle Team
